O’Kane (96 Gortgole Road, Portglenone) 4th November 2021 (peacefully at hospital) James RIP, beloved husband of the late Josie,  and much loved father of John, Mary (Monaghan), Peter, Damien, Karen (McDonnell)  and the late Seamus.

James’s remains were reposing in our South Derry Funeral Home, 43 Glenone Road, Clady (Corner). Visitors were welcome to call to pay their respects on Friday 5th November between 4.30pm and 5.30pm whereby his remains were then removed to St Mary’s Church, Portglenone. Requiem Mass on Saturday 6th November at 11am ( which can be viewed via the church webcam) followed by burial immediately afterwards in Aughnahoy Cemetery.

NB: Sadly due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing must be maintained both within the Funeral Home and the Church.

James’s passing was deeply regretted by his sorrowing sons, daughters, sons in law Patsy and Ciaran, daughter in law Mary, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all the family circle. On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy.
